TELE-LITE

In 1914 a company called Corbett-Steeves Pattern Works opened in Rochester, NY.  The Steeves family was community-oriented-especially toward the fire service.  Even today, many of the family members are instrumental in the establishment, manning and leadership of local volunteer fire departments.

John Steeves, having served as Chief of a Volunteer Fire Department, saw the need for better lighting at emergency scenes so he originated telescoping, quartz-halogen lighting.  That was almost 30 years ago.  Today, Tele-Lite, Inc. is recognized as the original manufacturer of the finest lighting and distributor of Honda products to the fire industry.

Tele-Lite is very well known for their generators.  One popular generator is the EU1000i.  The first in its output class to incorporate a microcomputer-controlled sine-wave inverter, the EU1000i delivers electricity as good as commercial sources, with wave distortion so low it can be used to power even the most frequency and voltage fluctuation sensitive equipment.  Further, two EU1000i's can be linked in parallel operation using a simple connection cable to duplicate the power output of a single larger conventional generator.

The EU1000i's ultra low-noise design combines a cube-shaped soundproofing box surrounding the engine and an outer noise-dampening wall in a unique two-tiered structure that optimizes the normally opposed functions of engine cooling and noise reduction.  Quiet enough to clear even the strictest noise regulations, the EU1000i is ideal for use in densely populated urban areas, at night, or as a home backup power supply.

The ECU1000i features a load-dependent "Eco-Throttle" that automatically maintains engine speed and power output at the most efficient level under all usage (particularly ideal for equipment requiring a powerful initial startup burst), realizing the economy of lower fuel consumption and the convenience of longer continuous operation.

The new additions to the Tele-Lite family are as follows:
